Why Two Boats?

Our emergency procedures training is a practical, exciting, scenario-based course that prepares you for emergencies that can happen on board.

We use 2 boats and 2 instructors at a time to enable us to teach aspects that cannot be taught effectively with just one boat that most courses run with. This allows for realistic man overboard scenarios, towing procedures, and multi-vessel coordination that you'll encounter in real emergencies.

Our 4-day course incorporates a certified RYA First Aid course to accompany first aid scenarios over the following days, giving you comprehensive emergency response capability.

2-Day Course Covers

  • Live man overboard
  • Distress calls
  • Dealing with fire on board
  • Towing
  • Search patterns
  • Accident prevention

4-Day Course Includes

Everything from the 2-day course, plus:

  • Use of flares
  • Capsize recovery
  • Emergency first aid scenarios
